Starting young is the way to go

Beavercreek Parks Department is helping young kids develop their love of basketball by offering a “Jump Start” basketball program.

The City of Beavercreek Parks and Recreation teamed up with Jump Start Sports to offer a basketball program for children grades Pre K – 2. This event is geared to be a recreational team that is fun-oriented and highly instructional.

The goal of this program is to pique each child’s curiosity about basketball and get kids excited about playing the game. They will learn the fundamentals of the art of basketball and be active at the same time.

Little Hoops Starts (pre-K & K) Monday evenings only, November 7-December 12 from either 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Hoop Stars (Grades 1-2) Wednesdays, November 9-December 21 from either 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Fees:
Resident – $70
Non-Resident- $80

Location: Shaw Elementary Gym, 3560 Kemp Rd.
