The City of Beavercreek has teamed up with True Heights Equipment Outfitters to offer the area a True Heights Adventure Clinic: Introduction to Backpacking class on Tuesday, November 15 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at C.I. Beaver Hall located at 3696 Highmont Street, Beavercreek.
Backpacking is growing in popularity, but many beginners don’t know where to start. Knowing basics of backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, and stoves can mean the difference between a great trip and a bad one.
This class will cover gear, food, trip planning, weight considerations, and other essentials to get you on the trail.
Fee:
Residents: $5
Non-residents: $10
