At age 69, Alan Thicke lived a full life and was the star of many American’s homes while he played a doctor in “Growing Pains” in the late 80’s. He was a father figure to many teen boys and girls and maybe even a role model for parents.
It was reported earlier tonight that Mr. Thicke was rushed to a local hospital after suffering a heart attack while playing hockey with his 16-year-old son.
He was rushed to Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center around noon today where he was pronounced dead.
Did you know that he once had his own talk show in the 80’s called “The Alan Thicke Show” before hitting it big in television and movies?
