Does your son or daughter know what to do if there is an emergency when they are babysitting?
Classes are now available in the Better Baby Sitters Class by the City of Beavercreek Parks, Recreation & Culture Department. The class is set up to provide the tools for teen to gain confidence and the skills to handle these types of situations while babysitting.
The two-day class for baby sitters in grades 5-8 is scheduled for January 28 and February 4, noon to 4:30 p.m.
Students are expected to learn the responsibilities of having a job, the rights of a baby sitter, CPR for a child and an infant, basic first-aid, growth and development and appropriate toys and activities for certain ages of children.
Cost:
Beavercreek residents: $100
Non-resident- $115
