Frozen Nipples, Polar Babies, Scuba Girl and the Cincinnati Bengals guy were among the hundreds to take the frozen plunge this year at Caesar’s Creek at the public beach to help raise money for the Special Olympics. With the combined Ohio efforts, the event has raised over $200,000 so far. For some it was a personal challenge, for others it was to help others, but for all it was a great charity event that got the blood pumping- even in the coldest of waters.
Not as cold as years past, it was one of the few cooler days of the winter. But, even the warmer winter didn’t make the difference in water temperature this March.
Till next year. I’ll see you at the start line again! Great job everyone!
