The City of Beavercreek Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture will be hosting this years Memorial Day celebration. The ceremony will take place on Monday, May 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Park located at 1911 N. Fairfield Rd.
This ceremony will honor the memory of men and women who passed away while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
Major General William T. Cooley will be the guest speaker. Major General Cooley is the Commander, Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Wright Brass will perform patriotic selections.
The public is invited to attend the community’s observance of Memorial Day.
Parking is available on Fairwood Drive and at the Church of the Nazarene.
Limited bleacher seating is available; lawn chairs are welcome.
