Shoup Park
1341 Meadow Bridge Dr.
Beavercreek, OH
One Beavercreek park gets a facelift and a rejuvenized agenda for its visitors. With new playgroup equipment, picnic tables and a renewed look on landscaping, this park is attracting a lot of attention by not only the local community, but others.
But, it didn’t renew all of the parks previous charm. The rejuvenation didn’t touch the unique slide that made Shoup Park a “one-of-a-kind”. The downhill metal slide still remains.
It’s hard to find parks like this anymore. It has actual dirt, lots of shade, plenty picnic tables with a clean environment. Unlike some local parks, finding unpleasant and dangerous items, such as beer bottles, broken glass shards, drug needles or other items that some parks are dealing with, this park is kept especially clean and free of anything harmful to children, parents and others.
This park was a community effort, which is becoming a norm for Beavercreek. They take pride in their community and work hard to keep it nice and updated. So, even if you don’t live in Beavercreek, please be respectful and clean up after yourself and children.
Which park do you and your children adore? Let me know.
