The City of Beavercreek just announced this winter/spring activities. Here is the listing of everything happening.
Summer Adult Softball
Time to play ball! The parks department is now accepting registration applications for the Summer Adult Softball for coed and men’s teams.
Cost: $480 per team- 6 p.m. – 7:10 p.m. time slot;
$496 per team for the 8:20-9:30 time slot, under the lights.
Beginning Tai Chi for Health and Wellness
Help manage stress, balance life and improve health with this ancient Chinese traditional dance method. Tai Chi involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.
Classes begin: February 21 through March 21 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the CI Beaver Hall located at 3696 Highmont Street.
Cost: $45 for residents; $52 for non-residents.
Morning Yoga Class
Learn breathing techniques, physical posture and meditation during this highly craved class. The classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Time: February 13 to March 15 from 8:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Location: C.I. Beaver Hall, 3696 Highmont Street.
Cost: $75 for residents; $86 for non-residents.
What to bring with you: yoga mat, blocks, and strap.
Bootcamp
Bootcamps are designed to fast blast fat in a challenging workout. Keep moving with a variety of cardio conditioning, drills, circuits, strength training and functional moves. This class is offered M-W-F for one hour classes.
Time: February 19 to March 23 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Location: C.I. Beaver Hall, 3696 Highmont Street.
Cost: $45 for residents; $52 for non-residents.

Parent and Tot Classes
It’s time to enroll your small children into pre-school classes. The event is meant for tots and parents/grandparents.
This event provides an opportunity for everyone to enjoy hands-on activities, arts & crafts, creative play, music & movement, parachute play and much more from February 20 to March 20.
Time: 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. for ages 18 mths. to 2 yrs.; 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for ages 3-6 yrs.
Cost: $35 for residents and $40 for non-residents. Materials are included.
