Join Kim McCarthy to celebrate summer and meet her as she campaigns for State Representative of the Ohio’s 73rd District. During this summer campaign kickoff Volunteer, Texas Beef and Cattle Co. will be offering the best BBQ food in the city. Food and drinks are provided. The kickoff will take place at E.J. Nutter Baseball Complex, 865 Factory Rd., Beavercreek on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 3 pm. to 6 pm.
It’s time to ramp up our general election campaign with a great team of volunteers. The McCarthy team has many opportunities for volunteers to take action over the summer. They need people to knock on doors, make phone calls, enter data, mail out letters, reach out to neighbors and the community, and host house parties.
The McCarthy team want to officially kick off their “People First!” campaign by coming together on Sunday, June 3, for some good food, drinks, and soon-to-be-if-not-already good friends! They’ll have food and drinks available, and they welcome all to join them. During this event, representatives are looking to find out about your interests, and getting better acquainted.
If you ever wanted to get involved in politics or know what running a campaign is all about, this is your chance to give it a chance.
Representatives will be available with a calendar of upcoming planned events, so volunteers can find common dates of availability.
“If we’re going to succeed, we need a large group of grassroots volunteers in our campaign, and we love that you have decided to help! With voter turnout in the recent primary at only 22%, and with Republicans turning out three times the number as Democrats, we have our work cut out for us between now and November, if we want to bring badly needed change to our communities and our state! Helping me get to the Statehouse means a voice for so many who currently have none,” McCarthy said.
If you are unable to attend, but still want to help the campaign, please email vote@kimmccarthyOH.com. Stay in touch for more information on ways to volunteer.
