Nationally Renowned Artist Mounts Exhibit at Harmon Museum

Harmon Museum, in Lebanon, Ohio presents a collection of paintings by internationally recognized Ohio born artist, John Vakalaris. An exhibit opening reception will take place Friday evening, May 10, 2019 from 6:30 to 8:30.
Meet that artist at this free reception open to the public. More than a dozen canvases by Vakalaris will be on display that evening and during Harmon Museum’s regular business hours through June 21st.
Born in Columbus, Ohio to Greek parents, frequent trips to the Greek countryside and islands greatly influenced his artistic style. His works are noted for incorporating luminescent color into an underlying complexity which boldly compliments simplicity of subject matter. Vakalaris’ works are displayed internationally as well as around the United States. He graduated with honors from both Columbus School of Art and the University Of Chicago. Vakalaris presently resides in Arizona.
