‘From September 9-19, 2021, Greater’s Ice Cream has teamed up with Cones for a Cure for the 12th year. The partnership offers a unique way to raise money to help fight pediatric brain cancer.
For the next ten days, Greater’s will be offer a special flavor: Elena’s Blueberry Pie ice cream- in honor of 6-year-old Elena Desserich. She was diagnosed in 2006 with DIPG brain cancer. She passed away nine months after diagnosed.
Research to find new treatments for childhood brain tumors represents one of our greatest opportunities to advance cancer research in general.
